It is important, in my view, to pre-determine what your ideal buyer’s relationship
to the therapy world is, to set better expectations, and sell to laypersons and other
therapists who may want to tell THEIR clients what you have to offer!
1. Would actively never go to therapy, nope, nope, never
2. Has never been to therapy, and therapy has never been on their radar
3. Hasn’t been to therapy but is open to it (price, time, or nerves get in the way)
4. Has been to therapy briefly, and it wasn’t helpful
5. Has done therapy for a while, and it was semi-helpful
6. Is in therapy but for a different issue that you solve and their therapist can’t
7. Is in therapy, soaking it all in, wants MORE resources
8. Finished therapy for now, looking for more self-help, open to future therapy
9. Desperately wants therapy, but nobody in their area/insurance/niche problem
